Free Legal Support for Survivors of Human Trafficking

Ontario provides a free legal support program for survivors of human trafficking through a full- time independent counsel who provides confidential legal advice and support across the province, includes exploring available options for protection against a trafficker, obtaining human trafficking restraining orders, assisting survivors to access supports to provide for their emotional and physical safety, and working with parents, guardians and Customary Caregivers to protect child victims of human trafficking.
