St. Mary’s Home Residence and Young Parent Outreach Centre

St. Mary’s Home shelter residence supports pregnant and parenting youth ages 13-29 until their infant is up to 8 months of age. The residence offers 24/7 supportive staff, 3 meals a day, a private room, and access to shared common space. Community support and follow-up programs are available after discharge from the shelter residence.

The Centre is a ‘one-stop’ hub of services, health care and educational programs. More than 20 organizations are partnered with St. Mary’s Home, making specialized services accessible on site. A focus on a strength based and trauma informed approach along with support for positive parenting and developing healthy attachment in young children are cornerstones of the agency.
