SASC Ottawa Canadian Armed Forces Services

The Sexual Assault Support Centre of Ottawa (SASC) provides a peer support services for the Canadian Armed Forces Community (CAF civilians, employees and DND members & Veterans) that have experienced sexual and gender-based violence.

Services include:

  • Short & Long term Individual Support
  • Group Support
  • 24/7 Support Line
  • Public Education (workshops & educational services)
  • All services are free & confidential
  • All Services are offered both in person and virtual (Zoom).

Participants of the individual support, group support and public education workshops will learn about:

  • Healing from Sexual Violence
  • Coping Skills
  • Self-Care
  • Dealing With Complex Emotions (Anger, Guilt & Shame)
  • Boundaries
  • Healthy Relationships
  • & much more.

The Sexual Assault Support Centre of Ottawa (SASC) provides support and services to Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) community members through the Sexual Misconduct Survivors Grant Program from the Department of National Defence (DND).

” The Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre (SMSRC) Community Support for Sexual Misconduct Survivors Grant Program funds projects proposed by community-based service providers to support people in the wider Defence community who have been affected by sexual misconduct.”
