Folks, we are following protocol of Ottawa Public Health to do our best to slow potential for this virus to spread. We are here to provide support and want to recognize that survivors are contending with multiple things, on a daily basis – not least of which includes a pandemic.
Our 24-hour support line (613) 234-2266 will continue to operate. If you need to get in touch with a peer support worker and are not sure how, please e-mail us at info@sascottawa.com. We will be in the centre to check messages on our office line, (613) 725-2160.
For services in our specialized programs, please contact the Coordinators directly. Women and War can be reached at (613) 799-0650 or womenandwar@sascottawa.com and Young Womyn Project (613) 868-4340 or ywpc@sascottawa.com
We are suspending all in-person support sessions and groups until further notice. Individuals who are on our lists for individual support sessions will be offered support via phone or by Zoom. We understand that these are not the most equitable options. As we continue to advocate for survivors, we will re-evaluate our centre protocol every 2 weeks to try and navigate this situation the best we can.
Please check in with each other, and take care of yourselves.
