SASC is one of the few organizations in Canada which offers programming specific to ritual/cult abuse.
What is Ritual Abuse?
Ritual or cult abuse is a form of abuse of children and adults linked with pornographic rings, or religious sects. Victims experience extreme violence, often for many years of their lives. A common coping skill is to develop multiple identities or personalities.
How does SASC support survivors of Ritual Abuse?
SASC collective members are trained to support women who have been ritually abused or who are multiple. We support ritually abused women in individual support sessions and run an annual group for women with multiplicity.
